இவ் வைபவத்தில் திருகோணமலை ரொட்டறி கழக தலைவர் அருட் தந்தை லக்ஷ்மன் பீரிஸ்,கழகம் சார்பில் வரவேற்பு உரை நிகழ்தினார். அவரது காலத்தில், திருகோணமலை ரோட்டரி கிளப்ஆளுநர் இருந்து 4 விருதுகள் கிடைத்ததாகவும் அதட்கு உதவிய தனது குழு உறுப்பினர்களுக்குநன்றி கூறி கௌரவித்தார்.

இந் நிகழ்வில் பிரதம விருந்தினராக நா மணிவண்ணன் - கிழக்கு மாகாண உள்ளுராட்சிஆணையாளர் கலந்து கொண்டார். இதன்போது கடந்த ஆண்டின் தலைவர் அருட் தந்தைலக்ஷ்மன் பீரிஸ் புதிதாக தெரிவான தலைவர் ஆ.உதயராஜனுக்கு தலமைப்பதவியை வழங்கிவாழ்த்து தெரிவித்தார்.. புதிய அங்கத்தவராக திரு உதயண்ணன் அவர்கள் இணைத்துக்கொள்ளப்படார்.
பிரதம விருந்தினர் அவரது உரையில் றோட்டரிக் கழகம் இன்னலுற்ற மக்கள் மத்தியில் சிறந்தசேவை புரிவதாக பாராட்டினார். சரியான தேவையுள்ள மக்களை இனம் கண்டு அவர்களுக்குஉதவ வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டார். அத்துடன் இளைனர்களுக்கான தேவைகளையும் அவர்களுடைய பிரச்சனைகளையும், முக்கியமாக போதை மருந்து பாவனை பற்றி கவனம்செலுத்துமாறு வேண்டிக் கொண்டார்

The 41st President of the Rotary Club of Trincomalee was took place on 07th July 2019. Rtn. PHF A.Uthayarajan took over from - PHF Rev. Fr. Lakshman Pieris at Rotary House, Trincomalee..
The Chief Guest was Mr.N.Manivannan – Eastern Province Local Government Commissioner.
Past President Rtn. PHF Rev. Fr. Lakshman Pieris honoured the Rotarians, who assisted him during his period. During his period, Rotary Club of Trincomalee received 4 awards from the Governor & praised his team members for their assistance.
One new member Mr.S.Uthayannan was inducted as new Rotary Member.
Chief Guest - Mr.N.Manivannan praised the services of Rotary Trincomalee & requested to identify the real needof the people & assist. He also requested to look into the need of the Youths & towards their wellbeing. He especially mentioned about ‘Drug Abuse” problem & work out a special programme to save the youths
