இலங்கை தென்கிழக்குப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் இஸ்லாமியக் கற்கைகள் மற்றும் அறபு மொழி பீடத்தின் 8ஆவது சர்வதேச ஆய்வரங்கு பீடாதிபதி பேராசிரியர் கலாநிதி எஸ்.எம்.எம். மஸாஹிர் அவர்களின் தலைமையில், இலங்கை தென்கிழக்குப் பல்கலைக்கழக உப வேந்தர் பேராசிரியர் கலாநிதி எம்.எம்.எம். நாஜிம் அவர்கள் பிரதம அதிதியாக கலந்து கொள்ள, கலாநிதி ஆர்.ஏ. சர்ஜுன் அவர்களின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பில் எதிர்வரும் 04.08.2021 (புதன்) இணைய வழியில் நடைபெற இருக்கின்றது. “இஸ்லாமிய மற்றும் அறபுக் கற்கைகள் ஊடாக நம்பிக்கைசார்ந்த சமூக ஒத்திசைவை ஊக்குவித்தல்”எனும் தொனிப்பொருளில் இவ்வாய்வரங்கு நடைபெறுவது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கதாகும். இவ்வாய்வரங்கின் தொடக்க நிகழ்வின் பிரதம பேச்சாளராக மலேசிய கெபங்ஸான் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் இஸ்லாமிய கற்கைகள் பீடத்தின் பீடாதிபதி துணைப் பேராசிரியர் கலாநிதி அஹ்மத் ஸுனாவரி லோங் அவர்கள் கலந்து சிறப்பிக்கிறார்கள். இவ்வாய்வரங்கில் 86 ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகள் உள்நாட்டு மற்றும் வெளிநாட்டு ஆய்வாளர்களால் முன்வைக்கப்படவிருக்கின்றன என்பது விஷேட அம்சமாகும்.

The 8th International Symposium of the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka
The Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka will host its 8th International Symposium on August 4th, 2021, commencing from 7.30 am. The Chief Guest at the virtual inauguration ceremony of the Symposium will be Prof. (Dr.) M.M.M Najim, the Vice-Chancellor of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka. The keynote address will be delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Sunawari Long, the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (The National University of Malaysia).
The 8th symposium convened by Prof. (Dr.) S.M.M Mazahir and coordinated by Dr. Sarjoon will feature presentations via zoom, focusing on “Promoting Faith-based Social Cohesion through Islamic and Arabic Studies” under different sub-themes in the field of Islamic and Arabic Studies by researchers from varied disciplines. It is remarkable that eighty-six papers have been accepted from both national and international researchers.
