உலக போலியோ நிலைமை மற்றும் சர்வதேச ரோட்டரி கழகத்தின் போலியோ வை உலகில் இருந்து நீக்குவதற்கான செயல் பற்றிய முக்கிய விபரங்களை டாக்டர் ஞானகுணாளன் வழங்கினார். அத்துடன் இலங்கையில் இருந்து எவ்வாறு போலியோ நோய் ஒழிக்கப் பட்ட விதத்தையும் எடுத்துக் கூறினார்
சர்வதேச ரோட்டரி கழகத்தின் போலியோவை உலகில் இருந்து நீக்குவதற்கான செயல் பற்றிய முக்கிய விபரங்களை மாணவர்கள் கேட்டு அறிந்து கொண்டார்கள்.
அதைத் தொடர்ந்து போதை மருந்து பாவனையில் இருந்து மாணவர்கள் தங்களை எப்படி பாதுகாப்பது சம்பந்தமாக எடுத்திக் கூறினார்
இறுதியாக மாணவர்களிடம் போதை மருந்துக்கு எதிர்த்து செயல் பட “தயாரா” என்று கேட்டபோது எல்லா மாணவர்களும் ஆசிரியர்களும் தங்கள் கைகளை உயர்த்தி ஆதரவு தெரிவித்தார்கள்
"World Polio Day 2018"celebration by Rotary Club of Trincomalee
Rotary Club of Trincomalee celebrated the "World Polio Day 2019" among the students at Trincomalee Konaeswara Hindu College on 24-10-2019.
Dr. Gunalan delivered the Keynote address about World Polio Situation & the Role of Rotary International in eliminating Process. He also explained how Rotary / Srilanka helped to eliminate Polio from Srilanka
Even though students don't come across any Polio Cases, but they asked lot of Questions about Polio & the Role of Rotarians.
In addition he also gave a Presentation on “Drug abuse” & explained how students can prevent themselves from access to Drug
At last they were asked, whether they will ready to work against “Drugs” & all students & Teachers raised their hands nad said “Yes”.
